The lake is a free facility for all our residential guests. £10.00 daily fees apply for all Leisure Club members. Passcode to gain access and directions map is available from Reception. Packed Lunches are available upon request.

The lake plays host to a multitude of fish:

Common Carp – 30LB. Mirror Carp – 30LB Roach – 2.5LB. Perch – 4.5LB. Tench – 4LB. Rudd – 1.5LB.

Experience the best display of historic moving armour in the world at The Tank Museum – bringing the story of tanks, tank crew and soldiers to life…

Historic vehicle displays will include vehicles making their show debuts, with a number of old favourites returning to the arena.

TANKFEST 2013 examines the adversarial nature of tank warfare, pitting one nations fighting armour against that of another. Our arena displays will examine the great armoured confrontations of the last century with our unique collection of working tanks. You’ll discover the strengths and weaknesses of the armour fielded by the protagonists of conflicts since World War One and find out why the tank has been integral to ultimate victory on the battlefield.

The show finale, the mock battle, will present a scenario dreaded by millions in the post war years… What if the cold war turned hot? For the first time, we will try to show how NATO would try and hold a Soviet force on the Plains of Germany with the potent threat of a nuclear strike.

William Shakespeares’ As you Like It will be performed in the outer bailey at Corfe Castle on the 4th July.

The play will take place on stage as it would have been by touring theatre companies during the 16th century. No other touring open-air theatre company has performed so many different Shakespeare titles to so many people, winning so many awards, as Illyria. This romantic comedy will suit both fans of Shakespeare and those yet to discover his genius.

Seating is not provided, so please bring low back seats and rugs. Picnics welcome and please wrap up warmly, fully prepared for our English summer evenings
